Vantec Stealth 520W PSU
PimpRig have reviewed a spower supply that's apparently designed for large rigs and small towns, Vantec's Stealth 520watt.

This PSU is equipped with a total of 10 molex connectors spread out among 3 lines (2 lines have 3 with the remaining line having 4). WIth my previous PSU I had to use y splitters in order to get power to everything. With this PSU I had PLENTY of molex connectors to power my gear.

nForce2 vs KT400 Chipset Comparison
Amdmb.com has published an article that compares the two latest chipsets to enter the AMD Athlon XP arena: the NVIDIA nForce2 and the VIA KT400. The article gives comparisons on gaming fronts as well addresses an issue concerning the KT400 chipset and AGP 8x performance.

Upon receiving my first NVIDIA nForce2 and VIA KT400 retail motherboards, I immediately began testing them and gathering data in order to compare them all. One of the first things I saw was that the VIA KT400 chipset and NVIDIA nForce2 chipset motherboards were showing some pretty different benchmark results – enough that I thought it was out of the ordinary. The benchmark that sparked my interest was Quake III: Arena. While benchmarking the latest KT400 motherboards, I found that it was not performing up to par with the KT333 chipset motherboards I have tested with the same configuration. While the KT333 coupled with the Radeon 9700 was showing more than 300 frames per second, all of the KT400 boards were showing up in the 275 fps range.

PC Power and Cooling Solid Steel Full Tower Case Review
Extreme Overclocking has posted a review on PC Power & Cooling's "Solid Steel Tower" case. It's nothing short of being a monster in size, able to hold just about anything the serious overclocker can get their hands on.

PC Power and Cooling is probably better known for their power supplies, but today we'll take a look at their full tower case. It's solid steel and is a monster. Let me start first by saying that when I first saw this case on Maximum PC I thought, "Wow, that thing is huge and looks very study. It definitely looked like you could do a lot with the case." Then when I actually received the case it was exactly how I expected it to be.

CC Stealth-X Case Review
GideonTech gets back into cases, with a new one called Stealth-X. Immediate intrigue is quickly met with immediate confusion as to where this case is going with it's design.

The immediate selling point of the case is the pre-cut 4 sectioned window on the side panel. In total there are 8 small screws that hold the single X-Window in place with a spot in the middle for an 80mm fan. In the accessories bag there are no fan screws so make sure you buy them beforehand. There are additional fan spots inside the case, so the lack of fan screws is a bit of an inconvenience.

ABIT IT7-MAX2 v2.0 i845PE Motherboard Review
Hexus have notched up yet another motherboard review. This time they're prodding ABIT's IT7-MAX2 v2.0 which is powered by Intels 845PE chipset.

Another very impressive motherboard from the ABIT stable that should be on your prospective shopping list if you're looking for a cutting-edge P4 board. If you own a decent i845E / SiS648 motherboard, though, I cannot really see the benefits of changing over unless HyperThreading truly excels. With dual-DDR looming in the distance, the i845PE appears to be something of a stopgap for now.

Lite-On 48x24x48x CD-RW Review
Between them Plextor and Lite-On are probably the two best known names in CD-RW technology. ClubOC have had a chance to look at Lite-On's 48x24x48x unit.

Wasn't it just a few short months ago when a 24x CD burner was top dog? It seems like every couple months CD burner get faster and faster. I've been very happy with my PlexWriter 24x with burn proof technology as I have NEVER burned a single coaster. Not one error, not one bad disk. Not one single problem since I purchased it when it they first hit the shelves.
