After shooting themselves in the foot with their memory speed crippled Radeon 8500 have Crucial put things right with their 9700 Pro? PCstats know and they're ready to share!

Unlike the Radeon 8500LE which was a good choice for value oriented users, Crucial is targeting high-end gamers with their Radeon 9700 Pro, which retails for about $369USD. To top things off, anyone who has bought memory from Crucial knows they have an excellent level of service and support!

MSI KT3 Ultra2-R KT333
No folks, the KT333 is not a dead chipset. It can still provide plenty of juice, and it is a rock solid technology. As usual, MSI packs a lot of bang for the buck, ViperLair take a look at their newest KT333

Previously, the KT3 wasn't able to hit 150FSB, but now we got as high as 154. I did manage to get up to 165FSB, but that meant lowering the multiplier down to 7. Honestly, I'm not convinced the lower multiplier trade-off is worth it, but that's up to you to decide.

Two new reviews at ClubOC!
ClubOC are back with a couple of new reviews for the weekend.

Tt Hardcano 2 Review
Today I have a nifty device from Thermaltake called the Hardcano 2. Don't ask me what "Hardcano" means, but my best guess is that it's a cross between "hardcore" and "volcano". As for the "Tt Boy" on the package...I don't even want to go there... The strange name or the odd little boy might be a bit distracting, but the Hardcano 2 looks to be a very useful device that I've been wanting to try out for quite some time. Thanks to TheCardCooler.com, I now have one to try out! Check out the Hardcano 2 here on ClubOC!

PCToys 80mm Crystal LED Case Fan Review
How many times have you had a fan go bad only to go ahead and replace it with another boring part. Very seldom do we consider that fans have potential when it comes to case modifications. Cold cathodes, clear lexan windows, aluminum cases, rounded cables... These are most of the accessories that we throw into our system to either look good at the next LAN or to just take a little pride in our self-built contraption. When it comes to fans, very seldom do we think how much they can be improved cosmetically, but then again if you're a true tweaker like myself, you'll always take that in like a grain of salt... Constantly tweaking our systems takes on a new meaning when it comes to the little things we can focus on, and a glowing fan is just the ticket to making my system better. Today ClubOC takes a look at a new-old idea. Combining functionality of a fan with a cosmetic touch of blue. Check out the Blue LED Case Fan here on ClubOC!

Meblin's Mods' IR PC Remote Control Review
PCReviewSpot have reviewed an Infrared PC Remote built by Meblin at Meblin's mods. You can use the remote for many things, including: volume control, dvd play control, winamp along with many other things.

Do you have a DVD drive on your computer? Tv-out? Perhaps even....speakers (gasp!)? These days most people can answer yes to these questions, I know I can. Most people have probably at one point or another, wondered why they don't just use their PC to control everything (stereo, dvd, tv, etc). You probably came up with several reasons, but one of them being that you had no remote to control them with, and didn't want to get up every minute to adjust the volume, change channels, tracks, or what not. Well, today we are going to solve that problem with the Infra-Red (IR) PC Remote from Meblin's Mods.

ABIT SR7-8X Motherboard (Socket 478) Video Review
3dGameMan do the SiS 648 powered Abit SR7-8X. With reports of a bad initial chipset revision the SiS 648 hasn't had the strongest of starts.

"The ABIT SR7-8X motherboard is one of the first AGP 8X products on the market sporting the SiS 648 chipset. This product has onboard audio, LAN and USB2 support at a fantastic price. Also, it's an excellent product for stability and performance; however, hardcore overclockers might be left wanting more! Watch the Video to find out more..." ~3dGameMan.com.
