LifeView FlyVideo 2000S PCI TV+FM Tuner
RadiativeNZ have reviewed the LifeView FlyVideo 2000S PCI TV+FM Tuner. Not one I've ever heard of and unfortunately no info on the chip used or resolutions supported.

At this point my impressions of the LifeView FlyVidio 2000S were less than stellar. In fact I was rather disgusted at the quality of the product, but keep reading folks, it does get better. A quick visit to www.lifeview.com.tw and a 10mb download later and hope was restored. The new drivers and software that I found on the website was of markedly better quality than the stuff shipped in the box!

Epox 4SDA5+ SiS648 Motherboard Review
PCStats have taken a swing at the Epox 4SDA5+. Powered by the SiS648 can Epox wring any extra performance from this unyielding chipset?

I've been a big fan of Epox motherboards for a long time now, and when I heard that they were producing a SiS 648 based motherboard, I was very interested to see how it would really perform. The SiS 648 chipset is generally know as a good performer in most situations, sometimes even rivalling Intel's DDR chipsets. Unfortunately, most of the SiS boards we have tested have proven to be rather poor overclockers.

[H]ardOCP Loses Control
Kyle and the guys over at [H] are getting a bit of a lambasting at the moment based on some apparently shady results
Kyle and the guys over at [H] are getting a bit of a lambasting at the moment based on some apparently shady results posted in their Pentium IV 3.06Ghz review. As somebody who doesn't know the facts I'm not prepared to comment either way and unless you hear the facts for yourself I suggest you reserve judgment. My guess is it was a genuine mistake that's snowballed out of control. Anyway, here's what's being said so you can decide for yourself.

What seems like an appology ends up being a "giving up post" to a situation that Mr. B couldn't control. Am i being harsh? Well if you read what happened to the forum members who asked politely about the situation and you will hear a different picture. Is this the type of site that actually cares about their viewers? Ask some highly respectable forum users of [H] that got banned and you might have second thoughts.

Sparkle Platinum GeForce4 Ti 4600, ASUS V9280S (Super Fast Series) Video Cards Review
It looks as though Albatron may have met their match in the shape of the ASUS V9280S. Digit-life also look at a Ti4600 from bargain basement kings Sparkle.

This Taiwanese company whose production facilities are located in China is well known in the world. Unfortunately, its cards are often named in price-lists as simply "NVIDIA GeForce4 Ti 4600 VIVO" and sell at very low prices. We understand that it's Sparkle, because it produces all such cards with VIVO and noname companies hardly deal with such cards. But why don't they indicate the company's name? Its name is anyway written on the boxes. Besides, Sparkle produces cards for eVGA which is so popular in the USA. The second product is from so famous ASUSTeK. The video card department has changed a lot regarding variety of lines and the price policy. Once overpriced cards now have their prices much down, the company develop new families based on the same chipset within which cards differ in features, accessories etc. Just take a look at the GeForce4 Ti 4200 family which includes 4 or 5 cards including solutions based on the Ti 4600" PCB - V8420S. Contrary to a similar card from Albatron, the V8420S has frequencies of both memory and chip increased, and this card can easily compete against the Albatron's product

Matrox Parhelia Review
Typedef Enum over at nVnews has posted a pretty comprehensive 21 page look at the Matrox Parhelia. In it he attempts to cover some of the bases he feels were missed in previous reviews.

The Parhelia was generally welcomed, but when the non-disclosure agreements expired and the first Parhelia reviews were published, there was an ominous "thud" by many review sites. Many of these sites catered to the gaming audience and answered questions such as "how well did it score in 3DMark2001?" or "how did it perform in the unreleased version of Unreal Tournament 2003?"

Leadtek K7NCR18D nForce2 Motherboard Review
In the first of two reviews today Amdmb.com has just launched its first review of a production level nForce2 motherboard. The Leadtek K7NCR18D is a good initial showing for NVIDIA's latest chipset and does very well in the benchmarks and features test.

The Leadtek K7NCR18D nForce2 motherboard was more than able to hold its own against the only competing motherboard, the Asus A7N8X. The gaming scores on the Leadtek board show that they have a significant gain in speed on the AGP/memory configuration and may be benefiting from additional time to tweak the bios. As we get more and more nForce2 motherboards onto our test benches, we’ll be able to tell if it’s the Leadtek board running ahead of the crowd or if the pre-production Asus board just wasn’t ready for the retail testing as of yet.

Lian Li PC-402A Review
Today, the Overclocker Café has a look at the Lian Li PC-402A Mini Flex ATX case. Looking very much like the very popular Lian Li PC-6089A, this little cube offers more than just good looks.

When I first took the 402A out of its box it was something akin to Austin Powers and "Mini-me". The 402A must have grown up on a diet of coffee and cigarettes. This is because the 402A looks exactly like the 6089A in its basic form.

WinFast K7NCR18D-Pro (nForce2) Motherboard Review
The nForce2 reviews are finally beginning to pick up pace. AthlonXP review the Leadtek WinFast K7NCR18D-Pro and hand out an "Editor's Choice" award to boot!

Leadtek is well known for their top of the line based video cards. It is perfectly logical Leadtek would follow suite and join up and manufacturer nVidia based main boards. Being fairly new to the main board industry The staff of Athlon XP thought it would interesting to take a look to see what they have to offer with their newest product the WinFast K7NCR18D- Pro. This main board is based on nForce2- ST chipset suite.

Corsair XMS 3500C2PT DDR Memory Video Review
Rodney "steady hand" Reynolds warms up the wires with his latest review, Corsair's XMS3500C2PT.

The Corsair XMS 3500C2PT DDR Memory performs very well and there is no question, it has Extreme Memory Speed. I was able to get it over the default speed of 434MHz (DDR) and even at these amazing speeds the memory is completely stable. If you are in the market for super fast reliable DDR memory, this is it. MicroDesk Essential 200B Desknote Review
Extreme Overclocking has notched up another review, this time they're getting "hands on" with the MicroDesk Essential 200B Desknote.

Overclocking a laptop, are you insane?" - Nope, just extreme. Overclocking a laptop can be a mistake, as processor heat is not easily dissipated when using a heat sink with a fan pushing less air than I could blow. Either way, I had to at least try and see what I could get her to do. Since the BIOS is so limited in advanced features, I had only two options: FSB-only overclocking, or unlocking and relocking with a set multiplier.
