Tt 360W Purepower PSU In-House Review
Is Thermaltake's drive to enter new markets turning them in to a jack of all trades or a master of none? Shawn takes a look at Tt's latest line, the Purepower PSU.

ThermalTake, known widely for their fantastic cooling solutions has been taking over many facets of the performance PC accessory industry. From RAM heat spreaders to temperature monitoring and controlling, they have been expanding their scope of products very rapidly. Most recently, ThermalTake has added Power Supply Units (PSUs) to their catalog. Today I will be looking at their Silent Purepower Supply. The model in front of me is their

Linksys Wireless Network Equipment
Phux have reviewed the very nice Linksys wireless network router.

After the recent purchase of my laptop from e-bay, I began to wonder how I was going to network it with the rest of my computers, and more importantly how I was going to get broadband to my new toy. After a couple of visits to my local computer store and a few more to their website I decided on these.

Logitech Z-640 5.1 Speaker System
PcReviewSpot have managed to get a set of Logitech Z-640s to test out. Doesn't look like they were too impressed overall.

Mention the name Logitech and the word speakers to an enthusiast computer user as little as one year ago, and you would probably get a smirk of disgust upon their face. Do the same thing now, and that same user would probably perk their ears in interest. Ever since Logitech introduced their “Z series,” they have been making trends in computer audio. A couple of their key selling points are: their cost (inexpensive, great bang-for-the-buck) and the massive amounts of bass that the subwoofer pumps out. Let’s see if the new Z640’s live up to that standard!

PCToys 520w Power Maxx Power Supply Review
If you're in the market for a new power supply this aluminium encased unit over at ClubOC sure looks interesting.

Today we have a new product from PCToys called the Power Maxx Aluminum Power Supply. This beast is rated at a whopping 520 watts and is probably heavy-duty enough to jumpstart your car! Okay, forget jumpstarting your car, this baby is the poster child for what a power supply should be. Look familiar? Yes, it sure does. That's because it is pretty much identical to the "Stealth" power supply produced by Vantec. The Stealth PSU has become one of the most popular upgrade choices to power high end computers and overclocking machines. However, it is hard to find and I haven't even seen it in local computer stores. As for the PCToys version, it is widely available and can be found in your local CompUSA store!

Plextor 48/24/48A CDRW
ASE Labs have been taking a pretty to-the point look at Plextor's latest flag bearer the PX4824A 48/24/48.

New users will most likely want to read the manual, it gives a load of information. Users beyond the skill of a beginner will either use the quick start guide, or nothing. The quick start guide was well written with pictures showing the jumpers and cabling. On the other side it shows the software aspects of burning. The CD had the normal suite of utilities including Easy CD Creator and Direct CD among other things.
