BIOS Features
The 4PDA2+ has a nicely rounded BIOS
with a good set of options available to tweak and
twiddle with.
The advanced BIOS features page allows
easy enabling or disabling of the Pentium 4's Hyper-Threading
technology found on supporting CPUs.

The basic memory tweaking settings are
available with DRAM timing set to "Manual".

The P4 just seems to have no limits
where system bus frequency is concerned, provided
your CPU is unlocked that is of course, and this is
reflected in the hefty 350MHz upper limit.

Memory frequency ratios cover just the
basics allowing only DDR333 or DDR266 with our P3
3.06GHz (533MHz).

AGP voltage ranges up to +0.70V.

VCore is probably likely to be the big
disappointment for those who like to overclock their
systems to the brink of destruction. At +0.05V maximum
over-voltage Epox have clearly decided that the risks
of subjecting your CPU to death by frying are just
not worth it. Epox are no dummies when it comes to
BIOS optimisations and you can be sure that if they've
done something like this it wasn't by accident!

VDIMM can be cranked up to +0.70V over
stock.
