MP7163A-DP 16x 10x 30x Review

Introduction :
Despite the slow adoption
of the CD-ROM format on the PC way back in the early days, CD-RW
has faced no such obstacles. Since its introduction around 1992
when drives like the Phillips CDD-521 were likely to set you
back about $6000, prices have been in freefall and with new
developments in writing technology and media prices that offer
better value per Megabyte than anything out there, people have
been quick to see the benefits of recording their own CDs.
Partly fuelled by the MP3
revolution, the demand for CD-RW drives is at an all-time high,
but with so many drives on the market, choosing one is less
clear cut. In this review we'll be looking at Ricoh's MP7163A-DP
which offers 16 speed write, 10 speed Rewrite and 32 speed CD-ROM.
First let's look at the specs.
