synthetic in nature SiSoft's Sandra offers a valuable insight towards overall
performance levels. We're using the latest version of Sandra (2003.7.9.73) known
as MAX3. Memory

fact that I'm using a 166MHz FSB Athlon 2700+ for this review is evident from
the memory results. nForce2 still very much sets the standards for memory performance
regardless of the CPU though it should be stressed that VIA's KT600 chipset has
closed the gap to negligable proportions.
I
was a little surprised to see the 8DA3G trailing the MSI board here. It's not
by a massive margin and it may well be a BIOS glitch or memory compatibility issue
but it's hardly something to get too upset about. Interesting though.
