There are plenty of quality motherboard manufacturers to choose from these days and unlike the situation five or six years ago the span between the best and worst is nowhere near as great, so what is it that had made Epox one of a small group of vendors to have amassed an almost cult following among their legions of loyal fans? Well it's certainly not looks! Epox have never really gone out of their way to offer coloured PCBs or psychedelic component colours. Nor is it the bundles, in general an Epox motherboard box contains little more than the absolute essentials. No, the truth is that Epox boards are respected for their overclocking, their fully features BIOS options and a pinch of that magic ingredient that can't be made and can't be bought.........expectation!

Based on NVIDIA's nForce2 chipset featuring their IGP with integrated MX class integrated graphics and MCP-T Media and Communications Processor, the 8RGA+ is the video-integral version of Epox's well received 8RDA+. We're used to seeing pared back performance features on IGP motherboards simply because they tend to have a very different target market but not so with the 8RGA+.
