Part Three: The Board [2]

The main layout is that of a familiar Abit board.
They have chosen to implement four DDR DIMMs, a feature seen
on the KG7 also. The small coolermaster-esque HSF on the chipset
ensures temperatures will not become a problem.

Here we can see the four memory slots Abit uses.
This could be viewed as a tad excessive in today's current
market but with more and more applications demanding higher
memory specs' and Windows XP trying to become the O.S. of
choice, it's certainly nice to have this added flexibility.

The layout is very similar to the KG7 and there
is still plenty of room for manoeuvre around the CPU's socket.
The ATX connection is also nicely placed to allow for some very
neat cabling indeed. This is certainly one of the best layouts
for a motherboard I have experienced.

This utilizes one AGP 4x slot and six PCI slots.
