Part One: Abit's Siluro Cards

We all know the great reputation Abit has for motherboards but I would suggest fewer people have experienced their graphics card range. Abit has been making cards based upon Nvidia GPU's since the MX / GTS days. Branded with the Siluro name, Abit have satisfied gamers with excellently produced cards that not only perform as well as the more familiar nV partners but that also offer a great deal for the overclocking community. Indeed some Abit Geforce 3's turned out to be the most successful overclockers upon the release of nVidia's highly praise worthy card.

Abit produces Ti 500's and 200's, the later becoming a great choice for the more value conscious gamer who not only demands a reasonable price tag but also great frame rates and full DX8 support. We looked at the Elsa 721 based upon the Ti200 recently and found it to be an ideal solution for the aforementioned category of gamers. What can the Siluro offer us and is it a worthy purchase? Let's find out...
