Part Two: A Closer Look
First off, I'll mention that this bag is plenty big;
in fact it's almost too big for my preference (the
bigger the bag, the more stuff you can fit and the
heavier it can be). But I would rather have an abundance
of space as opposed to a lack of it because you don't
have to fill the bag to the brim each time, but it
is rather hard to stretch a backpack to accommodate
more stuff if it's too small.

There are small zippered pouches on either side of
the bag for little items like a mouse, wallet etc…

There is also a removeable padded
cellphone pouch that attaches to the shoulder strap.

The laptop compartment is very well
padded and fits my 14" notebook perfectly without
sliding around. There is a strap to close the compartment
that secures with Velcro so the there is no chance
of your laptop falling out should you open the bag
in a precarious position. The front of the laptop
compartment has a group of organizer pockets for pens,
pencils, cables or whatever.

I have no idea what the front panel
is actually designed for, but on the backside of it
there is another well padded compartment that fits
a round CD player just right with a gap in the zipper
to pass the headphone wire through. My best guess
for this panel is extra protection for the contents
as it is a bit stiff and covers the whole front of
the bag. It poses a bit of a problem for gaining easy
access to the bag, as you really have to unstrap the
front panel before you can unzip the bag.

The shoulder straps are well padded as is the back
of the pack for a pretty comfortable fit. However,
for the size of this bag and the amount of stuff it
can hold I would have added a waist strap to help
take some weight off of the shoulders. But then again,
that would put this bag into a new category which
would suit students much better than professionals,
and as this bag could easily be a grab and go for
the mobile professional.
Time to get some stuff and fill this puppy...
