You
get a very extensive package of programs with this card.
Creative System Information
This
is a comprehensive tool to check the system information
of not only the Audigy card but the whole computer.
It
can be very handy in locating problems and solving them.
I
think it looks a lot like DXDiag, the diagnostic tool that’s
a part of DirectX.
On Screen Display configuration
tool
This
tool allows you to control the location of where the On
Screen Display information is displayed.
The
volume and mute/un-mute settings among other things are
displayed on screen.

Creative Entertainment Centre
It’s
the one stop shop for all your entertainment needs; an easy
access menu that looks a lot like Windows Media Centre’s
menu.
You
can view your pictures here, listen to your music, watch
your movies or play your DVD’s.
I
wonder who was first with this layout and design?
The
entertainment centre is accessed by the remote control,
which you can use to control the menus and programs with.
Entertainment Centre Settings
Here
you can set the options with which you can control the entertainment
centre.
Now
you can also enable the entertainment centre to start when
Windows starts and really make it an entertainment system.
Creative MediaSource
Mediasource
hosts a number of programs that are useful. Let’s
walk through them quickly.
MediaSource Audio Converter
It’s
a program to convert your wav, mp3 or wma files to wav,
mp3 or wma files.
Very
straightforward and easy to use, you can tell which file(s)
need converting and where to put them.
MediaSource Go!
Go!
Is the all in one toolbar of Creative.
It
covers all the programs and options that come with the software,
easy to pickings from the menu bar.
MediaSource Organizer
This
program is much like Apple’s ITunes, a simple tool to organize
and, if you have a Creative Nomad or MuVo for example, upload
you music to a portable device.
MediaSource Player
This
is basically a general multimedia player by Creative.
It
plays most of the favourite music formats out there.
Now
come the more standard Creative tools, some of which most
of you know.
Creative Audio Console
Here
you can get access to pretty much all the settings you can
make on the Audigy 4 card. It’s
a simplified overview of settings, divided in subsections.
