The
Windowed Side Panel:::...
As
I mentioned earlier, it's the side panel that sells
this case to me. Chieftec users will be familiar with
the quick-release locking handle which despite being
more a deterrent than a genuine antitheft feature,
still adds a touch of class and makes panel removal
a breeze.
A
push-on fin type grill helps to camouflage the vent
hole whether a fan is installed or not.
A
feature that impressed me was that the side window
is recessed around its edge which lets its surface
sit flush with that of the actual panel. It's a small
touch but one that demonstrates how the Perspex panel
was created specifically for its intended task.
The
window is held in place using plastic retainers which
do the job perfectly well and look much neater than
screws or small bolts from outside.
