Internal
Features:::...
The
front panel uses plastic sprung pegs to secure it which
means relatively easy removal provided you don't do it too
often and slacken them.
I
have a confession to make here. When I first tried to operate
these tool-free expansion card locks they had me baffled,
another good reason for an instruction manual. Anyway, eventually
I discovered that if you pinch the two tabs together (small
arrows), it lifts the front edge of the rear tab out of
a locking slot and you can then slide the whole thing back,
like the one above it, which wasn't in that position to
start with so I didn't even have a clue as to whether they
slid, pivoted or pulled clean off!
The
infrared remote unit is a fairly inexpensive affair with
domed, membrane type switches. The plus side is it should
cope better with spills, sweat and the other unsavory substances
most remotes get subjected to.
