Okay, with those tests out of the way it's back to our main test rig, which consists of the following:
- Intel P4 3.8GHz Socket 775 800MHz
- DFI LANParty 925X-T2 Motherboard
- Western Digital 80Gb HDD
- 2x 512MB Crucial DDR2
I know it's not good review etiquette to switch test system mid-review but I really wanted to get some numbers from the X2 before it went back ;)
In addition to the X850 XT, I ran a GeForce 5900 128MB complete with its infamous PCI-e bridge chip, through the same tests to demonstrate how far things have moved on in such a relatively short period of time.
Anyway, onwards, here's how the numbers shaped up.

3DMark03 Build 3.3.0:::...
By combining full DirectX®9.0a support with completely new tests and graphics, 3DMark03 Pro continued the legacy of being the industry standard benchmark. The high quality game tests, image quality tests, sound tests and others give you an extremely accurate overview of your system’s current gaming performance.
The reason for running 3DMark03 is because it's less graphics card dependant than 3DMark05 and so gives a more system-wide look at overall performance levels.
