DroneZ Mark :

3DMark 2001 :

Okay, so you're not going to win any speed awards,
but that's not really the issue. What should be evident is
that the scores on both DroneZ and 3DMark make the Duron 1.3
a genuinely viable option for even a relatively demanding
games platform. The 1.2 gave the first indications that the
Duron was about to evolve into a great processor for gamers
and general users alike and the 1.3 finally has the "feel"
of a genuine option. If your whole life doesn't revolve around
the size of your benchmark scores, the 1.3 is actually a strong
contender for almost any job that doesn't need the very fastest
on the market.
I find it remarkable that you can now buy a
Duron processor capable of running even the most computationally
intensive games out there, remarkable and strangely gratifying.
