Introduction:::
PC
cases are getting pretty extreme, having evolved from innocuous
grey boxes to elaborate pieces of art with windows, flashing
lights and more bells and whistles than a fully loaded BMW.
From temperature sensors to fan controllers and more IO
ports than one could ever fully utilize. At the same time,
CPUs are in need of more cooling, and enthusiasts are demanding
silence, therefore, circulation is a major deciding factor
in case purchases made by us do-it-yourselfers. Today I
will be looking at a case from Enermax that incorporates
some of us enthusiasts favorite features with a unique cooling
design that actually works.
Back
in the day, when I built my first high end system (XP1300
T-Bird, 256MB PC2100 and GeForce2 GTS PRO), I researched
cases and PSU's to house the precious components. Back then,
there weren't such high power demands, and case modification
was in its infancy. After looking at specs and designs from
many companies, I decided that Enermax made a solid PSU,
and I liked their case design because it had a blue bezel.
That was the deciding factor for me, and I went with it.
Since then, many companies have stepped forward and outshined
the company that always made solid kit. So I was happy when
they contacted me about a new case they were launching.
