Part Three: Introducing The Siluro
As we have previously seen, Abit presents their products in a nothing short of stunning fashion. It would be fair to assume we expect nothing less from this new offering.

Above we can see the full card, Abit have chosen to use the black PCB they have used with all the Siluro branded cards. While this matters little to performance it's always better to see a manufacturer make an effort to please those who value an ascetically pleasing card and equally pleasing performance.

The HSF unit was also styled in a familiar form. We saw an identical unit on our GF3 Ti200, this one as a difference though, as some of you may be aware, the pins distance from each other has changed and thus older Blue Orb style fans will now not fit using the pins provided.

It's nice to see the inclusion of ramsinks on the back of the PCB but unfortunately we do have a slight placement error that needs to be addressed. The circle indicates a small section of BGA RAM that was protruding from the ramsink. Although this isn't clear from the picture (apology's, a new camera is on it's way very soon indeed) the heatsink was applied in a slightly uneven fashion. This isn't something we expect from the usual Abit cards and let's hope it applies to this sample only. We shall see whether or not this feature hindered our overclocking later.

The back of the card is presented neatly but those ramsinks are somewhat smaller than on the front of the PCB.
