A
Closer Look:::...
Lift
the plastic protection and you've got to be impressed with
that surface finish. It simply has to be electroplated with
something, finishes like that arent easily polished in,
but so long as it doesn't interfere with heat transfer who
cares? I doubt you'l be lapping this base, not unless you
want to roughen it up a touch!

Oh, I forgot to mention that the fan lights up. LED fans
aren't exactly headline news any more but the chilling blue
glow definitely adds to the cool factor, no pun intended.

Installation
is simplicity itself. Step one is to install the RAM sinks,
something I do with the aid of a CD case to get everything
aligned properly. Nothing looks worse than badly positioned
RAM sinks I always feel.

Use
a Guide for RAM Sink Fitting
|
Before
removing the backing, try the RAM sink in position to check
for components that might get in the way. Try both sinks
because moving one will mean you need to move the other
too or it will look odd. As you can see below, I had to
fit one pair of sinks slightly off-center to allow for a
surface component.

Position
RAM Sinks With Care

Taking
all this time and trouble to align things won't improve
how the sinks work, but it will certainly improve how they
look.
