Part Four: A Closer Look At The Board

Here is the KX7333 R in all it's glory,
a familiar design that's very reminiscent of the KR7A
that was released just before this. I'm sure I've no need
to say how excellently presented it was, Abit's typical
quality is again on show here.

Abit provides us with four DIMM slots, a
feature that is rapidly becoming synonymous with their
AMD based solutions. To the left of the above image we
can also observe the Three-Phase- Power and the slight
repositioning of the main ATX power supply.

The HighPoint RAID controller, RAID IDE's
and Floppy connection.

If this was a 'MAX' board this shot would
be very different indeed. However this is the KX333R and
it includes all the familiar interfaces.
The design may be familiar but when the
award
winning KR7A was so good, why change it? Abit boards
do indeed have 'that something special' about them and
the KX7 oozes quality...
