The Box:::...
The box design is pretty impressive
and features a transparent printed yellow tinted plastic
outer box inside which is a reflective silver cardboard
affair that gives a kind of gold metallic effect.
The Mega Stick is visible through a transparent window
in the outer box which aligns with a cutout in the
inner box.

Once the box is cracked open you're
faced with a couple of bags on one side which hold
all the bits and bobs and of course the Mega Stick
on the other.

So what's in the box in total? Well
rather than strain my limited artistry by laying it
all out like it just fell off my lap and fell in a
heap I decided to use the drawing that was used in
the electronic manual. The only things that aren't
shown here are the two soft earphone covers that come
in a prematurely grubby looking white colour.

For those who don't have the luxury
of front mounted USB ports on their case or a hub
on their desk MSI supply a 0.1m (100cm) USB extension
cable to ease connection but you do still need a spare
port, or at least one you can free up when you need
it.
Both the printed quick start guide and
also the electronic user manual supplied on the installation
CD are lacking in detail, or more accurately they're
not as clear and concise as they perhaps could be.
This was partly made worse by the fact that several
pages of the electronic manual refused to load saying
it might help if I installed the latest version of
the traditional Chinese language support package!!
Because of the sheer number of features the Mega Stick
boasts and the fairly limited number of control options
available due to its small size, it makes the need
for clear instructions all the more important and
while they're okay they're not great.
