The grandly named 9-pin Mini-extended connector to 4 port Video connector, or breakout box as I prefer to call it, is a great idea and is an exxcelent compromise between a full break-out box with emough cable to extend it to the desktop and doing without one completely. The DVI to VGA connector may seem like an obvious inclusion but a surprising number of manufacturers leave this out to trim costs, a self defeating move in my humble view considering the minimal cost of these dongles compared to the hassle that will befall someone wanting to run a dual display setup not realising they need one.
