Needless
to say the big selling point for the IGP variants
of the nForce2 chipset is the integrated graphics
option. nForce2 offers truly impressive performance
for an onboard video solution but we need to face
up to reality here and admit that they're still a
compromise to some extent. The very fact that they
use system memory and that they're classed as GeForce4
MX level means they're not going to appeal to the
hardened gamer but that's not to say they're completely
lame. As we can see below there's a reasonable amount
of power available and you should find yourself able
to play even recent games if you're prepared to sacrifice
a little.

Running
a dual memory configuration should be considered a
priority if you intend taking the integrated video
route because it takes a quite significant hit when
if you don't.
