Final thoughts
Ill be honest, when I received the packaging I started to panic! The thoughts of having a hardware firewall would be great for my Internet connection, but what if I fail miserably? Will there be a few pages of how to connect the Pro400 and then your left on your own? Do you have to learn some new programming interface to telnet into the firewall and configure applications like other firewalls I've seen? Yes the product looks harmless, but was failure waiting inside to pounce on me?
Nexland obviously knew that some first timers would have this cloud of horror above them, and they have made an amazing booklet to help any network knowledge range. Nexland is obviously customer orientated and is there with you every step of the way.
Nexland have obviously looked at every aspect of what a business needs in today's world. Every server configuration that you can think of is available for you to set-up to get your business on the WWW easily and safely. Including Symantec's RaptorMobile adds a huge brownie point, which will help businesses easily set-up home/mobile workers to dial in safe and securely.
Not only does the Pro400 protect you from harmful attacks from the Internet, but also it is also a hub and a router all in one! For peace of mind for either home users or business users this is an ideal product for everyone, and a money saver for those looking into setting up a home network!
The only thing that would make this product perfect would be to incorporate a Virus Scanner too, but of course that would bump up the price.
The Nexland Pro400 is a truly amazing device and one I would certainly recommend to anyone.
