Nero CD Speed +RW:::...

Our Philips 1-4x +RW media wrote with no problem at 4x, well kind of. I don't know what the speed dips are all about but nothing I did got rid of them. The average write speed of 3.97x is still impressive.

Okay it's confession time. While I was stocking up on blanks for this review I managed to order single speed -RW media by mistake. I'd show you the graph but it makes for pretty dull viewing. You should remember that -RW rewriting speeds are still stuck at a maximum 2x even on this drive so if you want reasonable rewrite times you need to grab some +RW media and not -RW.
