WD360GD (Raptor)

WD1000JB (Special Edition)

6L080J4 (Maxtor ATA-133)

Well,
the Raptor's nothing if not consistent with a clean sweep of wins. The spin speeds
at approximately 40% faster than either the Maxtor or the Caviar translate to
a similar percentile performance advantage when we look at the average speeds
for the three units. The "Disk Speed Index" is a little flattering to
say the least but the Raptor's win is unequivocal. |
