Taking
a look at the card itself, the first thing you notice is
that it's blue! Not a big deal you might think but with
just about every other board on the market, and the reference
boards decked out in red, seeing a blue version seems a
little odd and certainly helps to differentiate Sapphire's
product, even if nothing else has changed.

is used on the X800XT and a xx-GC14 (1.4ns) variety rated
to a very tasty sounding 700MHz.

Perhaps
the biggest piece of ammo for those claiming the GeForce
6800 is over-engineered is the fact that ATi still need
no more than a single power connector fed by just about
any half-decent 300watt or bigger power supply. With new
power supplies far from cheap, for the better ones at least,
this may well prove to be a deciding factor for a lot of
people.
