Remember the time when people used modems to connect to the internet with a whopping speed of 56k? if the phone lines were able to reach those speeds that is.

Armed with a modem and some knowledge on how to connect it to an Internet Service Provider, many people were able to connect themselves to the internet and get surfing.

Like all new technology it soon became commonplace, and now people can take a subscription and, if they prefer, buy their own modem separately. This is where products like today's review candidate, the SMC 7904WRBA come in.

It’s a wireless ADSL modem, allowing you to connect with your wired or wireless adapter to a fast internet connection.

This type is used for analogue phone lines while the "WRBB" version is used for ISDN digital lines.
