Here's a tip to other hardware manufacturers, just because you're product is selling for under £50 that's not an excuse to package it in a tacky box that looks like it was run off on a cheap laser printer. WACOM's box is clean, classy, has a great, high-res image of the product on the front and, in no more than a handful of well chosen words, sums up exactly what you get.

The back of the box fills in on some of the finer details once the appetite is whetted and the box picked up.

In addition to a commendably thorough paper manual is a CD containing a great, interactive manual that's ideal for getting you started using the many functions and features. Also on the CD is a WACOM-specific version of ArtRage, a genuinely fun art package from Ambient Design. It's not quite as generous as it may initially seem as you can download ArtRage for free from the Ambient Design website, but this is just one of the software options you get with the Volito 2 as we'll see.

Unlike the Graphire Bluetooth there's no mouse with the Volito 2. What you get is the tablet and pen, though you can add a mouse to the setup yourself if you wish.
