Interior Features:

I have never found so many things to note inside of a case, for starters as I mentioned before, everything is tool less. There are thumbscrews for the side panels, and the drive bays and PCI slots are tool less as well.

Here is how you mount the drives. There are handy rails that fit on either side of the drive and they slide right into the bay.

Mounting Drives has never been easier, just slide into place and it snaps locked very securely.

Even the 3 ½ inch HDD bays have the tool less rails. To accommodate the rails, Thermaltake has turned the drive bays 90 degrees to face the side so that there is no need to remove the opposite side panel to install and remove the drives. This rack has 6 bays, and there is one more up top in the fan control panel which we will get to in a bit.

As I mentioned, the PCI slots are tool less as well, they have plastic clips that snap into place, creating just enough pressure to hold it in place. I have heard some complaints about the clip not working with AGP cards, but I had no trouble with the Ti4400 that I have here.

I am installing a Zalman flower-type cooler in this system which relies on the screw mounts for the PCI slots to attach the fan bracket. It was nice to see that the clips came off with three screws and looks like it can be either reused on another case here in the dungeon, or easily replaced when the time comes to change coolers and go tool-less again.

Lets have a look at some of these fans, I/O ports and rheostats that I mentioned...
