CPU Performance :
The test setup for the following benchmarks was
as follows :
Epox 8KHA+ motherboard
256MB PC2100 Kingmax DDR SDRAM
Creative Labs 3D Blaster GeForce 3 Ti500 Graphics (22.50 Detonators)
40GB ATA-100 HDD
Creative Labs Audigy Sound
Windows XP Pro O/S
The motherboard system performance parameters
were set to "Turbo" throughout testing. AGP aperture
was 128MB. No other performance enhancement settings were used.
And let's also take a look at the two contenders.
Because the XP1900+ was released just before Christmas, I've
compared against the 1800+ as this is what most enthusiasts
will probably be running at this stage.
