thank AMD and
especially Theresa Zimmer for their help and courtesy in providing
this processor for review.

Benchmark Results :
Quake3 Arena Time Demo 001 :
Obviously I'd be strung up from the nearest tree
if I didn't run Quake3 Arena benchmark, so here it is. The top
graph is the results solely for the 2000+ to make it easier
to ingest while below is the 1800+ comparison. Test were run
at maximum everything.

XP2000+ Performance

XP2000+ and XP1800+ Performance
As I'm sure you've noticed, the greatest benefits
are to be had at the lower resolutions, although if you're running
at 1600x1200 and decide to enable 4xAA, those extra couple of
frames per second could really count! One thing that should
be immediately clear is that coupling the AthlonXP 2000+ with
a high end video card like the GeForce Ti500 makes for one awe
inspiring gaming rig.
VulpineGL :
VulpineGL is a nasty piece of OGL code, at least
that's what your computer would tell you. With large maps, super-high
polygon landscape models and detailed textures, this is designed
to bring your computer to its knees.

The improvements may not look spectacular but
that average framerate is a healthy 8%(ish) higher.
